About MomentBackup

MomentBackup keeps a browsable history of your files on storage you control and checks the saved data for damage. On Windows, it can also keep a recoverable image of your whole computer on a local or external drive, or a connected NAS.

Your backups and license

• Your backups are yours. They live where you choose. We run no hosted storage and keep no copy of your data. There is no MomentBackup server in the path between your computer and your destination.
• Encryption is your choice. When you turn it on, your computer encrypts the backup before saving it. We do not hold the keys. Keep your recovery key safe because we cannot recover it for you.
• Buy it once. A personal license is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Pick a package for 1, 3, 5, or 10 of your own computers. There's no storage bill because we never hold your data.
• Restores stay available. Getting your files back never needs a license, including on a new or offline machine.
• For your own computers. MomentBackup is built for people backing up their own computers.

Who makes it

MomentBackup is built and published by Watari Labs Pty Ltd, a small independent Australian software company in New South Wales. A real person reads every support message, and we aim to reply within two business days.
